Yoga in Life with Barbara

I teach Hatha yoga in a slow flow in mixed ability classes which are particularly suitable for beginners. I create a friendly and comfortable space to explore and develop your range of movement in a fun and non judgmental way, bringing awareness to the body and mind. Breathing techniques, meditation and relaxation are integral to the practice helping to manage stress and restore a sense of ease.

Weekly classes on Mondays 10.10am to 11.25am. Classes are £10,  booked by the block of 4-6 weeks.

Chair Yoga with Barbara (two classes)

Chair yoga is derived from traditional yoga, with the poses replicated as sitting poses or stretches using a chair. This makes the yoga poses accessible to everyone including seniors and people recovering from or living with illness, injury or weakness. Chair yoga has many benefits including increased flexibility, and improved strength, self awareness and pain management skills. It can also reduce stress and help you sleep better. More than anything Chair yoga is fun and sociable. We end all our classes with tea, cake and a chat.

Weekly classes on Mondays at 11.45am and 1.00pm. Classes are £8, booked by the block of 4-6 weeks.

Yoga with Veronica

Yoga is the perfect way to keep active and flexible. It also aids general fitness and is great for back care and injury prevention.

Thursdays, 10.00am - 12noon

   There is currently a waiting list for classes, contact the ARC for details.

   Relax and release gong bath, first Thursday of every month at 7.00pm.
